Yes, you can change or upgrade your dog walking package later if your needs change. Get in touch to discuss any modifications or upgrades you'd like to make to your existing package.

If you require additional dog walking services during your holiday, please let us know in advance. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs while you are away. Additional charges may apply based on the frequency and duration of the dog walks during your absence.

We understand that holidays are part of life. If you need to put your dog walking package on pause, please inform us 28 days in advance. We can temporarily suspend your services for the duration of your holiday. You won't be charged for the days you put your package on hold. When you return, simply let us know, and we'll resume your regular dog walking schedule. In circumstances of long-term injury or illness, we can put your package on pause.

Yes. You can choose the number of walks per month, additional training, and other additional services like feeding or medication administration. If you have any other requirements, please discuss your needs with us.

From our meet & greet onboarding service, we consider factors such as your dog's energy level, exercise requirements, and your own schedule. If your dog is highly active, you might opt for a package with more frequent walks. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to discuss your dog's needs with us. We can help determine the most suitable package and tailor it for you.

When you sign up for a dog walking package, you select the number of walks per month that you'd like for your dog. You can then book your walking slots for the month.

We offer a walk and grooming service so your dog can be exercised and return home clean. Please get in touch for more details

No toys will be taken on our group walks but may be used in private sessions.

Once we have got your written consent, we will keep your dog on a fixed length lead or long line for the first few weeks whilst we build your dog's trust and develop a relationship with your dog. Our handlers will only let your dog off if they feel it is safe to do so. In the initial meet and greet & introductory walk we will discuss recall, your dog's drive and assess your dog's recall.

We do not walk any females on season, if your dog comes on season please let us know immediately.

This isn't a requirement for indivudual walks but we require all dogs to pass our initial group walk check list before being booked into any group walks.

At Citizen Canine we endeavour to match dog's on compatability. We review this on a constant basis, if we find the group is imbalanced we will make changes. We want dogs at all development stages to socialise and learn off each other in a positive way, experiencing well controlled interactions with other dogs in the group.

Group walking involves a maximum of four compatible dogs per trained handler.

Once you're set up on the app, you will be able to purchase a monthly walking package via the 'scheduling' button.

We offer adhoc walking, this will be determined on availability, completion of meet and greet and introductory walk.

Commands will be reinforced by our trainers throughout the session, all commands are noted in your meet and greet and will be saved on our system. It will be the owner's responsibility to update any new commands on the app.

We use high in protein treats to reward your dog during our walks, if your dog has allergies please make sure these are detailed on the app.

Our van carries a water supply, so after your walk or if it's really hot during the walk

You will be given a 1 hour time window where your dog will be collected and dropped off when using us, as we work with animals who can be unpredictable we ask for your patience if times change due to unforeseen circumstances.

Your dog will be walked by one of our trained handlers, we endeavour to keep your dog in a routine with the same handler where possible but handlers may vary if cover is required.

Travel time is not included in our walks, your dog will be walked for the chosen time of service.

The walking price includes pick up and drop-off within a 5 mile raduis of our HQ, any locations outside of our serviced area will be quoted at an additional cost.

Our initial meet and greet service involves a short 30 minute visit by one of team, to run through our questionnaire and meet your dog within a controlled environment.

Each dog is taken on its own merit and not on the reputation of specific breeds. All dogs are taken on an introductory training session before they are onboarded with Citizen Canine. We reserve the right to refuse to walk any dog, including banned dog breeds and dogs under the dog control order.

In the unlikely event of an emergency we will immediately act to ensure your dog is safe and in the best care. Citizen Canine will call you or your emergency contact to make you aware. During the initial consultation we will take down all your emergency contact details and store these securely in our app. If vet assistance is needed, we will bring your dog to your nominated vet on our system. All team members are dog first aid trained to provide immediate care prior to transportation to the vet.

Login to our app and click on the invoices button to view all past and present invoices.

You can cancel or reschedule as long as its before our 48 hours notice. If we are not given more than 48 hours notice, you will lose your walking slot. We are unable to reschedule walks that are at the last week of the month. Walks cannot be accrued/ carried over to the next month.

Your dog will be transported in a secure crate in our fully heated and air-conditioned van.

We require all future customers to have a short phone call and/or in person meet and greet with us. This way we can meet you and get to know your dog to understand your future needs.

We are fully insured for all services we offer on our website, so you can be assured when choosing us your dog is in the best care.

We service across Guildford and the Surrey Hills for dog walking. If your postcode sits outside a +6mile radius from our HQ an additonal travel fees will apply.

For walking, all bookings are made on a dedicated app, once you have completed an introductory consultation with us you will be invited to download our app and can request all future bookings via this platform. For training services, please book a complementary phone call via the link on our website and for all other services, please add to the shopping cart or follow the booking link.
